American Weekend - Prescott Hill Climb 2015

The American weekend which is held every year at the Bugatti Club is one of my favourite events, this year particularly as it was only a couple of months after our International rally at the same place.

It was lovely to just sit and relax chatting to people, especially the ones who had been to the club rally as it gave us a chance to exchange views on our rally.

We arrived on Friday afternoon and the gang had already set up camp besides the Demon Drone Wall of Death.
We managed to congratulate the proud grandparents Dave and Julia Seymour on the birth of their new grandson, before Dave was back on the wall along with new Dad Duke.

The wall is non stop for the whole weekend which is free to everyone.

The place was buzzing with all sorts of entertainment.   The club was well represented and we had a gorgeous display of Indians.
The Hill Climb was busy with many different vehicles.
Over the weekend the hill climb is in constant use.  Mike particularly liked the Stanley Steamers.

If you haven't been before you should put the date in your diary to come next year.
Friday evening we escaped to a lovely B&B which is an old farm house and a working farm.  The breakfast was fantastic with freshly laid eggs and all the trimmings not helpful if you are trying to lose weight.

We went back to the site on Sunday to enjoy the rest of the weekend and meet up with more people.

We had a long drive back home so took our leave at 4.00p.m.

The official photographer Phil Kroll took some wonderful pictures of the whole weekend and you can view them on his website http://prescott2015.blogspot.co.uk/
